Entries are being accepted in the following categories:
Work Atmosphere, Education, Leadership,
Community Involvement, Advocacy, and Marketing Power.

Rules & Regulations

The Latino-Friendly Award recognizes individuals
businesses and organizations dedicated to meeting
the needs of the growing U.S. Hispanic community.
Participants are concerned about the well-being
of local minorities and make significant
contributions to improve their social and economic
status. Participants are distinguished leaders who
continually seek to make a difference in the
communities they live, work and play.

The Recognition

To generate a comprehensive overview
of the Hispanic Market and recognize those key
players who help define it. Seen as valuable
members in their own communities, participants are
encouraged to promote their products and services
more effectively in today's economic environment.

The Benefits

Latino-Friendly honorees are recognized for their
excellence and committment to making our
communities diverse and strong. Because of their
hard work and involvement many lives are better
today. Proceeds from annual event will be invested
back in education and business endeavors to further
promote interaction with the largest minority
in the nation; The Hispanic community.

Who Can Participate?

Any organization, business or individual,
who meets RULES & REGULATIONS criteria,
and/or is nominated by a reputable community
business or individual. Nominations are limited
by geographic region only-not industry. One entry
per participant to the category of choice
will be accepted during any calendar year.

Entry Fee

Entry fee schedule has been provided and it is not
tax-deductible. It covers expenses to run event,
annual community gifts to education and
small business endeavors and annual membership
to the LATINO-FRIENDLY circle of excellence expenses.

A Community Investment

The Latino-Friendly Awards recognizes that you are
an intricate part of the community-as a supporter
and friend, therefore, coordinating organization
wants to further promote investment in the
communities where participants come from.

To Promote and Inspire

In order to promote and inspire others, participants
receive an annual "Circle of Excellence" membership that provides them with advertising on
Latino Life and Latino Biz publications,
a web banner on HISPANOS USA web-site,
a distinctive plaque, the Latino-Friendly Award
Trophy, media coverage via print, radio and
television, 10 VIP tickets to awards/dinner
celebration and discounted services from
HISPANOS USA and network of affiliate
sponsors and friends.

Being a Latino-Friendly member, participant,
nominee or honoree will give your company the edge

industry Pioneer-enhancing your position in

to disclose important information such as validity
of involvement, proof of eligibility, 2 letters of
reccomendation, and a 2-page essay describing why
they deserve to be recognized. Participants may enter
